A model of balance and readability, the Ref. 5320 perpetual calendar was created in 2017 with a white gold case and a cream lacquered dial. Its vintage style is reinterpreted in a new white gold version featuring a gilded opaline dial in rose gold. The calendar displays feature one of the characteristic layouts of Patek Philippe perpetual calendars since 1941, with a double inline day/month aperture at 12 o’clock and a pointer date framing a moon phase aperture at 6 o’clock. The whole is complemented by two small round apertures, one for the day/night indication at 7:30, the other for the leap year cycle at 4:30, useful indications for setting the calendar. The extremely precise moon phases require correction by only one day every 122 years.
