The dial features 10 baguette-cut diamonds. The sunray finish creates delicate reflections of light on many dials in the Oyster Perpetual collection. It is achieved using expert brushing techniques that produce subtle grooves that branch out from the centre of the dial.
Light propagates evenly along each incision, creating a subtle, distinctive glow that shifts with the position of the wrist. Once the sunburst finish is complete, the dial color is applied using physical vapor deposition or electroplating. A thin layer of varnish gives the dial its final appearance.
